Meet the Studio

Studio Narmak is a Socal-based animation studio specializing in 2D animation and production. (We can do more, too!)

From idea to finished creation, our services are all done in-house - concept, script, boards, design, edit, music, sound, and of course animation. Anything from a simple animated feature to an entire animated episode falls under our wheelhouse. You bring the idea, we create it.

Studio Narmak was born from the minds of founders and friends-since-highschool, Kamran Yunus and Timothy Chae. Tim and Kamran would partner up for high school projects, leading to a lifelong bond that has been growing strong for over a decade. Kamran began animating in 2013, creating animations for school and his own passion projects, which led to the creation of “Narmak” (*Kamran spelled backwards... genius). Tim joined in 2020, banding the two together for the goal of selling merch and helping create funny videos, before setting their eyes on something even greater: an awesome animation studio.

Founded in 2025, Studio Narmak is nothing without its team of wonderful artists and talent handpicked over years of work. Together the team has seen over 500 million organic views and 2.5 million fans across 130+ shipped projects, with only bigger and better ventures planned ahead. In conclusion: WE LOVE ANIMATION!!!
